These awards are given to the scholars chosen by the Governing Body of the Academy and they are honoured with cash awards ranging from Rs. 21,000.00 to Rs. 51,000.00, Rajat Kalash (Silver pot), shawls, Anga Vastra and citation etc.
Under this schemes, teachers of Sanskrit working in schools, colleges, Sanskrit schools and Sanskrit colleges who give 100% results at the University/Board examinations are honoured every year. Besides, schools, colleges, Sanskrit schools and Sanskrit colleges giving excellent results at these examination are also honoured every year, keeping in view their enrolment. A grand function is held to honour each of them with a citation, Sanskrit literature, Anga Vastra, stickers and a shawl. For this purpose, a letter and a proforma are sent to each school, college, Sanskrit school and Sanskrit college by the Academy and intimation is also sent through advertisement in different news-papers.
Under this schemes, teachers of Sanskrit and Music in the schools located in Delhi, are honoured for preparing their students for the competitions held in the twelve districts of the Directorate of Education, Delhi. Each school which has obtained any prize from first prize to consolation prize at the district level competitions, is intimated through a letter by the Academy and advertisements are also published in different newspapers. Evert teacher is honoured with a citation, Anga Vastra, and Sanskrit literature etc. at a grand function.

These conferences are organised by inviting the names of willing scholars through advertisements in news-papers for participation.
With a view to propagating Sanskrit by obtaining the views of scholars in the related subject, seminars and discussions are held on topics such as the art of war in the ancient times as reflected in Sanskrit literature, the contribution of Muslims scholars to Sanskrit literature, the influence of Sanskrit on Punjabi language and, international relations of ancient india etc.
The Academy organises interview sessions with the poets and writers of Sanskrit so that the common public comes to know straight from their own mouths of the inspiration they got for writing and the bitter-sweet experiences of their careers.
For this award, original writings in Sanskrit are invited from all over the country through advertisements in newspapers. Their evaluation is got done by eminent and learned scholars and after that outstanding writers are given various awards ranging from Rs. 3000.00 to Rs. 7000.00. The selections are made by a selection committee
Under this scheme, applications are invited from those teachers of Sanskrit who have put in a minimum 10 years of service, by sending letters to schools and by publishings advertisements in news-papers. The Evaluation Committee of the Academy selects 18 such Sanskrit teachers of the schools of the Directorate of Education, 2 teachers of the general colleges of Delhi University and 2 teachers of traditional Sanskrit schools on the basis of their work and achivements in the areas of Sanskrit. They are awarded cash prizes of Rs.7000.00 each.
Under this schemes, names of students obtaining excellent results at class X and class XII examinations, B.A., M.A., Prathma, Purva Madhyma, Uttar Madhyma, Shastri and Acharya levels are invited through letters sent to schools, colleges and Sanskrit schools and also advertisements in the press. They are honoured each with a citation, stickers published by the Academy, literature and amounts ranging from Rs. 500.00 to Rs.1500.00.
These competitions are arranged for six days in all the twelve districts of the Directorate of Education for the students of Sanskrit, in Sanskrit elocution, solo Shloka music, Sanskrit debates, and Sanskrit Shloka recitation. A central competition is held thereafter among the best adjusdged teams of each district on the basis of which, prizes and certificates are awarded. This helps the students imbibe the qualities of leadership and the ability to express their views on the stages in Sanskrit. Like-wise, at the University level also, competitions in Sanskrit plays, elocution, Shloka music and qawwali are held and prizes awarded.
This competition is arranged for the students of traditional general colleges and Sanskrit colleges in which the students ask each other questions on Gayatri, Ved, Upnishad, Philosophy, Grammer, Dharmashastra, Astrology, Mathematics and Ayurveda etc. Students who give excellent performance are awarded prizes by the Academy.

This competition is organised by announcing it in the newspapers through an advertisement and prizes are awarded for excellent poetry recitation.
For this competition, paintings based on the themes of different poems are invited through advertisements in the press and are evaluated by scholars. Prizes ranging from Rs.200.00 to Rs. 2000.00 are awarded for the best paintings.
Research articles of about 250 pages on a given topic are invited from Sanskrit writers from all over India through advertisements in the press. These reports are got evaulated by scholars of eminence and the best research articles are awarded cash prizes ranging from Rs.15,000/- to Rs.25,000/-
Advertisements are got published in newspapers inviting short plays from writers all over the country. They are got evaluated and work of outstanding merit awarded prizes ranging between Rs.300.00 and Rs.1000.00

Shlokas on a given topics are invited from writers all over the country through advertisement in the press and works of outstanding merit are awarded prizes ranging from Rs. 300.00 to Rs. 1000.00
Scholarships ranging from Rs.500.00 to Rs. 1500.00 once is given to the students of class 9 to M.A. level of all schools, colleges and Sanskrit colleges and to those of purva Madhyama to Acharya level of Sanskrit schools who have obtained excellent marks in Sanskrit and have opted for the study of Sanskrit in the next higher class. Information in this regard is invited by the Academy every year from all the schools, colleges, Sanskrit colleges and Sanskrit schools individually and advertisement to this effect is also given in the press.
The Academy invites names of candidates for enrollment in the study centres for the following courses through advertisement in the newspapers and makes arrangements for their study at the centres on a nominal fee
This training is given to those who wish to pass the I.A.S. examination with Sanskrit as a subject of examination.
This centre is conducted for those who wish to study Sanskrit of the primary level.
In order to encourage original writting in Sanskrit, poets, and writers of Sanskrit are given financial assistance for publication of their works. Some amount is given before the publication and the remaining amount is given afterwards. The amount of assistance depends on the numbers of pages of the book.
The Academy provides financial support to Sanskrit magazines and newspapers by giving them advertisements about its activities and achivements.
The Academy provides part-time Sanskrit teachers to the Government and Government aided schools of Delhi. All these teachers are of the level of T.G.T. All these teachers are required to teach three periods of Sanskrit everyday for which they are paid by the Academy.
